Authors in Wonderland began in 2023 when novelist Annalee Adams transformed her lifelong passion for Lewis Carroll's masterpiece into reality. Our immersive literary event brings together the book community in a whimsical atmosphere where imagination reigns. Readers can enjoy an unforgettable weekend, meet their favourite authors, and discover special editions and bookish merchandise.

Based in England, Authors in Wonderland is very much a family-run event, with Annalee’s husband and two children helping behind the scenes. Each event also gives back, raising money for charity chosen by our authors, vendors, and readers. The 2025 event raised nearly £800 for the National Autistic Society, and the 2026 event is proudly supporting MIND.
